British company IBT, a leading provider of interactive visual solutions, will be exhibiting at this year’s BETT Show at the ExCel Centre, London (23rd – 26th January 2019), Stand C271.
Reassuring robust – we’ve even had a person stand on one to demonstrate how durable they are, IBT interactive displays are perfect for demanding educational environments.
With around 40 other interactive display providers at Bett, IBT aims to show visitors why IBT should be the interactive display provider of choice.
Our Xi Series front-of-class vibrant 4k interactive displays offer a captivating experience. With sizes up to 86”, the built-in Android mini PC means you can get working straight away with useful pre-installed apps. Whilst the ability to add a Windows PC means you can access your usual day-to-day applications through the touch interface.
Teachers aren’t limited to staying at the front-of-the-class; wirelessly connect a mobile device or tablet to the Xi Series and deliver lesson content whilst moving around the room.
The Xi Series also comes with wireless screen mirroring so content can be shared by up to four devices in the room; such as an iPad, Windows laptop, Android tablet or phone. As the host you can also annotate on shared content using the embedded annotator tool, perfect for collaborating and brainstorming.
The heart of our solution is subscription-free software that offers genuinely unique features – the flagship Hive digital whiteboarding app. Hive is unique in being able to open SMART Notebook and Promethean contents, in addition to web, video, images, MS Office and Open Office documents.
Hive is the only app that allows you to mix all these resources in a single document, so there is no need to switch apps or documents, making it simpler for educators to plan for different types of learners. Hive’s embedded interactive mini-apps like the magnifier or stopwatch can also be used to enhance lesson delivery.
- Want subscription-free access to your SMART & Promethean files so you can save some money? No problem.
- Want to allow up to 40 learners to connect to a digital whiteboarding page using their own devices so you can work collaboratively together? Done.
- Want to ask learners for feedback during class so you can tailor the remainder of the lesson to weak areas of understanding? Let’s do it.
Hive offers an intuitive, naturally smooth writing experience, (and for those who don’t like their handwriting, handwriting recognition is included). We’ll be delivering one-to-one demos of the software on our stand throughout the show allowing visitors to see the strengths of our solution and ask any questions. Visitors to the stand will also be able to take part in the interactive fun for the chance to win a prize.
Zulfi Baig, Operations Director commented: “Every year at Bett we try to do something innovative to welcome visitors to our stand, we’ve got lots planned for the four days of Bett and look forward to unveiling exciting Bett exclusives for our visitors”.
